AmeriBenefit membership is open to anyone 18 or older with a valid EIN or tax ID who is self-employed, an independent contractor, an entrepreneur or a small business owner, including a business of one. Don't have an EIN yet? It's free from the IRS, and we can walk you through getting one. Owners can enroll themselves, their employees, or both in the health plan. The owner or employee enrolling must be 18 to 64, and their spouse and dependent children, including children under 18, can be covered on a family plan.
